The funny/sad thing about releasing software is...
April 25, 2010
...if your test/beta/etc period is more than a few days, it doesn't matter how long it is, within 24 hours of releasing you'll almost always have brought to your attention a few very ugly bugs that need to be fixed. Sigh...

It makes me want to release things even more often.

Absolutely! What type of research have you done into continuous deployment? We do it at Cheezburger. Also, look at what Flickr and IMVU are doing...same thing. Commit the code, test run automatically, code deploys automatically.

you have inspired me to have a go at learning computer programming. I'm only writing the simplest stupidest most pointless programs at the moment to learn the language. I can't begin to imagine what the code to reaper looks like and how you manage to fix bugs. I get bugs usually just because i forget to add a semi colon at the end of a line. Have you tried checking your semi colons? haha just kidding.
