Slapstick, and other Vonnegut stuff
April 27, 2009
I enjoyed the prologue, looking forward to the rest of the book. The last books of his I read were 'The Sirens of Titan' and 'Galapagos', which I enjoyed but were pretty out there, in a disturbing messing-with-your-brain sort of way. Anyhow... Finding an excuse to post here is tough sometimes. Hi ho?

If you haven't read Vonnegut's 'Cat's Cradle' I recommend it. I haven't read either 'Slapstick' or 'Galapagos' yet. Perhaps I'm due for a trip to the library.... -Nile

yeah Cat's Cradle is good too.. Player Piano is probably still my favorite tho -- I'd recommend it to you. Just finished 'Jailbird', which I enjoyed as well.

Now to mix it up, and to read 'The Road'..

Vonnegut rip off but approved

Venus on the Half Shell
by Kilgore Trout

I've read all of Vonnegut and I would say Sirens of Titan and Breakfast of Champions are the best ones IMO
